Product Overview
The Saunum Air L 13 pairs substantial 12.9 kW heating output with Saunum’s signature climate-equalizing air system. Designed for larger sauna rooms, it continuously blends hotter upper-level air with cooler air near the floor and returns the mixed air to the room, helping create a more comfortable and consistent bathing environment from the upper bench to foot level.
Available with either a Closed Basket or Open Basket, with a large stone capacity that supports abundant steam and a classic sauna experience.
Why Saunum Is Different
Traditional saunas naturally develop strong temperature stratification: the hottest air rises while cooler air settles near the floor. Saunum’s integrated climate system is designed to circulate and blend those layers, producing a more even-feeling sauna environment while preserving the heat, stones and steam of a traditional sauna.
Key Features
- Integrated Saunum air-mixing technology helps balance temperature throughout the sauna
- Large stone capacity supports soft, generous steam when water is applied to the stones
- Adjustable airflow lets the sauna climate be tailored to personal preference
- Purpose-built electric sauna heater for residential indoor sauna installations
Recommended Sauna Size
317–565 cu. ft.. Correct heater sizing depends on total room volume and construction materials; glass, tile, masonry and other uninsulated surfaces can increase the effective sauna volume.
Required for Operation
Saunum AirIQ Wi-Fi control is required. Saunum specifies Air L for use with the AirIQ control system. Sauna stones are also required. Stone quantity varies by model/basket configuration.
