Product Overview
Transform your backyard into a beautiful Canadian sauna retreat with the LeisureCraft CT Avalon Outdoor Sauna. Handcrafted in Ontario from premium Eastern White Cedar, the Avalon combines substantial solid-log construction, a distinctive three-tier bench system, expansive bronze glass, and a striking black metal roof.
Designed for traditional sauna bathing, the Avalon offers flexible seating at different heat levels, allowing family and friends to enjoy a personalized sauna experience in a spacious outdoor setting.
Premium Canadian Cedar Construction
The CT Avalon features substantial 2¾-inch double-groove Eastern White Cedar log walls. Cedar is valued for its attractive natural grain, pleasant aroma, and natural resistance to moisture and decay.
Part of LeisureCraft's Canadian Timber Collection, the Avalon combines traditional Canadian craftsmanship with contemporary outdoor design. Its solid-log construction creates a substantial, naturally beautiful sauna enclosure.
Distinctive Three-Tier Bench System
The Avalon's innovative three-tier seating design provides multiple seating heights and different levels of heat throughout your sauna session.
-
Upper Tier: Enjoy the warmest seating position for a more intense sauna experience.
-
Middle Tier: Relax at a comfortable intermediate heat level.
-
Lower Tier: Enjoy gentler warmth or use the lower level as a convenient step between benches.
Because heat rises, the three-tier layout makes it easy to personalize your sauna experience without changing the heater temperature.
Expansive Glass and Architectural Metal Roof
A large front window and glass door feature 5 mm bronze tempered glass, allowing natural light into the sauna while maintaining the warmth and character of the cedar interior.
The black standing-seam metal roof provides a distinctive architectural finish and weather protection. Its extended overhang creates an overall roof footprint of approximately 10 × 10 feet, while the sauna structure measures approximately 8 × 8 feet.
The door can be positioned for left- or right-hand entry during assembly, subject to LeisureCraft's installation instructions.
Electric or Wood-Burning Sauna Heating
Customize your CT Avalon with a compatible electric or wood-burning sauna heater. The sauna can also be purchased without a heater.
-
Electric Heating: A 9 kW electric sauna heater is recommended for convenient operation and traditional sauna bathing.
-
Wood-Burning Heating: A compatible size 14–16 wood-burning sauna heater provides the atmosphere and warmth of a traditional wood-fired sauna.
Please Note: The sauna heater is not included in the base sauna price. Available heater packages can be selected through the product customization options.
Wood-Burning Heater and Chimney Requirements
Wood-burning sauna installations require a compatible chimney system, appropriate floor protection, and the correct size and quantity of sauna stones for the selected heater. These components are sold separately unless specifically included in a selected package.
Important CT Avalon Restriction: Only side-exit and back-exit chimney configurations are compatible with the Avalon. Top-exit chimney configurations are not supported.
Before installation, verify the required chimney routing, heat shielding, clearances, foundation protection, and applicable building and fire codes. Follow all LeisureCraft and heater manufacturer installation instructions.
